Autograph letter signed, dated : Genoa, 17 February 1867, to M. [Giovanni Gualberto] Guidi in Florence, 1867 Feb. 17.

Expressing regret that he did not see Guidi in person before leaving Florence, thanking him for the reception he was given during his short visit there and for the flattering words Guidi wrote about him, saying that in Turin he received Guidi's letter and two copies of the Gazetta di Firenze, that they leave Italy that day for France, etc.
